Currently, most of my research is focused on:
- Numerical methods (mainly in CFD):
- Dynamic mesh,
- Multi-grid (especially Algebraic MG: AMG),
- Immersed boundary/interface.
- Application of numerical methods to problems of interest:
- Multiphysics (especially electrokinetics, electrochemistry),
- Micro-fluidics (especially micro-mixers),
- Fuel Cells
- Aerosol,
- Bio-fluidics,
- Fluid-solid (structure) interaction (FSI),
Research Interests
My research interests include:
- CFD: Polyhedral FVM, Dynamic Meshes, Fluid/Structure Interaction (FSI), LES, Multi-Physics Modeling, Particle Tracking, Adaptive Meshes, Parallel Processing, GPU, Multi-Grid.
- Energy: Direct Energy Conversion, Fuel Cell, Simulation, Green Energy, Energy Storage, Transition to Green Energy.
- Aerosol: Physics, Measurement, Simulation, Combustion, Interaction with Continuous Phase and Turbulence, Multi-Physics Phenomena like Electric Field Effects, Condensation and Evaporation, Droplet Formation.
- Turbulence: Physics, Simulation (LES and DNS), Modeling, Interaction with other phenomena such as combustion, discontinuous phase and acoustic.
- Micro-Fluidics: Electrokinetics, Electrophoresis, Dielectrophoresis (DEP), Lab-on-Chip (LOC), Micro-Mixers, Micro-Valves, Micro-Pumps.
- Bio-Fluidics: Modeling biological systems, Living tissue, Targeted Drug delivery.
